Welcome to my web-portfolio.
I share with you several pieces of my work as examples of my work and reflections over the past fifteen years as I’ve progressed towards my academic goal.
One word of note as you move forward…
You will find that throughout these narrative, reflective artifacts that I clearly define myself as a storyteller – and in hindsight, I’ve grown to take this role as a result of the influences of several key individuals. From the stories my grandmother told me about her growing up on the farm, the stories my uncle shared about his work with the government, and my father’s stories about his job – defining where you are through stories is something that I have grown to value.
I share this with you because in one of the books read during a seminar class, Roger Schank (2005) described how using stories is a valuable tool to “hook” the observer into the activity. Thus, I invite you to peruse with pleasure and invite any feedback along the way.
